Communicant Membership Class (6 hour class)

The basics for this class are found in Ephesians 2:19 (LB), "You are a member of God's own family. . . and you belong in God's household with every other Christian."

Key truths: the Church is a family, God expects you to be a member of a Church Family; and a Christian without a Church Family is an orphan!

Major topics include:

• History of Presbyterianism; of our denomination; the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA); and of the Tampa Bay Presbyterian Church.
• Our vision for the future as a part of the Body of Christ and God's Kingdom on earth.
• Our biblical foundation and doctrinal distinctives.
• Our core values.
• Our membership vows.

The Communicant Membership Class is required for church membership. The class is given Sunday Mornings from 8:45 A.M to 10:00 A.M. over a 6 week period.  Since the class is continuously rotating, you can jump in at any time.
