TBPC Ministry Needs

God has empowered people to do His work through the ministry of the Holy Spirit in their lives. He gives all believers spiritual gifts to enable them to do the task(s) He wants them to do. Below is a list of TBPC ministries that need your spiritual gift. If interested in learning more about a particular ministry, please indicate on the welcome card Sunday morning, and the ministry leader will get in touch with you.

The following ministries could use your help. If you are not already involved in a ministry at TBPC, please consider one of the ministry needs listed below:

  • Children's Ministry Volunteer
Children's Ministry could always use more help. If you like working with children, this may be the place for you. Please contact Ashleigh Kemp (kempash@gmail.com) to get connected in this ministry.
  • Hospitality Ministry
Anyone who is willing to serve on Sunday mornings for the Hospitality Café; either setup at 8am or cleanup at 12pm. No long-term obligations and one Sunday a month is all that is required. Team members are also needed who can offer their time during special events - preparing food, setting up, clean up, praying for the ministry, or meeting other needs as they arise.
  • Missions
More committee members are needed to assist with missions' communications, and events. Contact Freddy Fritz (Freddyfritz@tampabaypresbyterian.org)
  • Music Ministry
Adult Choir members are always needed, as well as musicians and AV operators. Contact Millie Myers (milliemusic2@yahoo.com), if interested. Practice is Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
  • Nursery
Two people are needed to care for children during the Sunday School hour. You would only have to do nursery one week per month. There is also a need for caregivers during special events (paid position). Contact Marianne Cali (813-980-2399 or califamily2@juno.com)
  • ESL
The ESL Program currently has three classes: beginning, intermediate and advanced. All classes are meeting online.
Please prayerfully consider joining our team and mission to assist those who need to learn or improve their English speaking and reading capabilities. The Program is a wonderful blessing to all who participate! If you are interested in joining the ESL Program, please contact Karen Cross (karencross38@hotmail.com or 813-714-9921).
